What can I say, EV training has been my saviour throughout lockdown and still is. Having dealt with Covid first hand as a front line nurse, it was awful and not being able to see my family was so hard. But EV’s sessions (which she did all for free) were amazing and kept me sane. Her energy and passion is second to none. I can’t thank her enough. Some days I didn’t want to get up as the effects of working on the front line had affected me more than I thought. Faced with the reality of a challenging summer where life wasn’t as we know it, finding Emily on Instagram was one of the major things that kept me sane through lockdown. More than you’ll know! When we first went into lockdown, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get to the gym and get my workouts in. That was until I found Emily and the tribe! The workouts provided by Emily were so engaging and fun that it made me realise that prior to lockdown my training has become a chore and rather rigid meaning I wasn’t getting the results I wanted! Since being a part of the tribe, I have seen a complete change in my body shape and my mindset. It’s been amazing. I owe a lot of my sanity to Emily! At the start of lockdown, I had zero motivation and was looking for a new challenge. As someone who has trained regularly for years, I can honestly say I’ve never trainer so hard. Her positive attitude gets you up and sweating even when you don’t feel like it. At the beginning of lockdown I was using the same workouts everyone was jumping on board with, not necessarily because I WANTED to but because I felt I HAD to as we were all moving less and eating and drinking more. A friend of mine was using Emily’s workouts and i thought i would give them a go. I can honestly say I’ve never ever enjoyed working out as much as i did in those first 12/13 weeks when she provided (completely free of charge and consistently week in week out) 6 workouts a week, of which I don’t think I missed one. When Emily then launched the EV Tribe subscription page it was a no brainer, for 20 quid I basically have a pocket sized motivator, personal trainer, advisor and, bizarrely perhaps seen as we’ve met once, a friend. I enjoy working out, I fell strong and in control and even when I’m not motivated to do so, I always know that when I log on I will feel 100x better afterwards. Best 20 quid you’ll ever spend in my opinion.
